We believe that the social relationships found in community are a support in recovery—benefiting us as we find our own way to contribute to the well-being of others as well as having our own specific needs met—and the Care Home is at the heart of Cherry Orchards’ life.

Based in Caspar House, we offer a residential, respite and day care services that support adults who are working to recover from mental health, addictions, or any other significant life crisis.

Life in the community includes shared day-to-day work such as cooking, cleaning and meals, as well as the chance to take part in:

  • Therapeutic and creative activities such as candle making, felting and baking
  • Growing, harvesting and preserving the fruit and vegetables we eat
  • Regular festivals, singing and celebrations

People can also access individual sessions with qualified and experienced counselling, drama, creative arts, occupational and horticulture therapists.
